Every Use Your Words project follows a form of my 4-D Framework. This is the tried and true process I’ve honed over the past 25 years for crafting compelling copy for my clients whether they’re large corporations, small businesses, universities, healthcare systems, or you. My 4-D Framework ensures you will have messaging that:

  • Clearly reflects what your business does to attract more of your ideal clients.

  • Feels and sounds like you — not like anyone else — and definitely not generic!

  • Speaks directly to the hearts and minds of your ideal clients.

  • Gets them excited about working with you, so sales become easier.

1. DISCOVER.


A deep dive into the who, what, when, where, why, and how of your business. What we discover will become the foundation for creating a clear and compelling connection between what you do and what your audiences desire.


2. DISTILL.

This step is all about sifting, sorting, and boiling down all the information we’ve collected so far to reveal the core elements that differentiate your business and make you the only choice for your ideal clients.


3. DEVELOP.

Now that we know what there is to say, it’s time figure out how to say it. This step is all about crafting messages that clarify what you do (and don’t do) to attract more of your ideal clients.


4. DELIVER.

Time to make the donuts. Or in this case, create the copy for your website, sales pages, email sequences, etc., to engage your ideal clients and have them show up ready to start working with you!
